Unannounced loadshedding: PPP submits calling-attention notice to NA Secretariat

Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Wednesday submitted a calling attention notice to the National Assembly Secretariat regarding discriminatory conduct of K-Electric, HESCO and SEPCO towards the people of urban and rural parts of Sindh, particularly Karachi, with unannounced load-shedding.
According to the calling attention notice, "We the undersigned invite the attention of the Minister of Water & Power towards the discriminatory conduct of K-Electric, HESCO and SEPCO towards the people of urban and rural parts of Sindh, particularly Karachi, with unannounced loadshedding of long duration from 16 to 24 hours. This is an unjust burden levied on the people of Sindh who already have to deal with deadly heat waves every year. This is a very serious matter and needs immediate attention of the House." The calling attention notice was submitted by Imran Zafar Leghari, Dr Nafisa Shah, Mir Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani, Ms Shahida Rehmani and Ms Shugufta Jummani.
