The Vice Chancellor LUMHS Professor Noshad A Shaikh has announced to establish LUMHS Diagnostic Centre Jamshoro" within the premises of University. While visiting the proposed site of the Diagnostic Centre, Professor Noshad A Shaikh expressed that keeping in view the number of Road Traffic Accidents happening on Super/Indus Highway, due to which a large number of patients with trauma are being attended at the Liaquat University Hospital Jamshoro which is lacking of CT Scan and MRI Facility, and the patients are being referred to Hyderabad in critical condition for proper diagnosis, therefore it has been decided by the University to establish a state of Art Diagnostic Centre so that the patients can be promptly diagnosed and treated accordingly without loss of time.
He added that the "LUMHS Diagnostic Centre Jamshoro" shall be equipped with latest MRI and CT Scan Units with all other radiological diagnostic facilities to attend the patients round the clock.
