President Mamnoon Hussain administered the oath of offices to MNA Sheikh Aftab Ahmed and Senator Mir Hasil Bizenjo as Federal Ministers in a special Ceremony held here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad on Friday. Members of Parliament, Secretary Cabinet and senior government officials also attended the oath-taking Ceremony. The oath-taking ceremony was conducted entirely in Urdu language. Our reporter from Karachi adds: Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo of National Party (NP) has been assigned the portfolio of Ministry of Ports and Shipping.
The Baloch nationalist leader has replaced Senator Kamran Michael at the shipping ministry. The minority lawmaker has been given the human rights ministry. "The prime minister had taken me in confidence on the change of portfolio a fortnight ago," a statement from shipping ministry quoted the PML-N leader. He said human rights ministry would require him to shoulder a great responsibility to improve Pakistan's identity in the comity of nations.
