Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman met with ANP chief Asfandyar Wali Khan and discussed the current political situation especially the Panama papers issue. ANP leaders Mian Iftikhar Hussain and Haji Ghulam Ahmed Bilour were also present on this occasion. Talking to newsmen, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said he had not brought any special message to Asfandyar, adding he only inquired after the health of the ANP chief.
About Panama papers issue, the JUI-F chief said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was not accused of any illegality, adding that only his sons were named in Panama papers. He hailed the agreement between opposition and government over formation of parliamentary committee on TORs for the judicial commission. He said that the negative politics of Imran Khan had spoiled the youth. The ANP chief said charges against Nawaz Sharif had not yet proved, adding that ANP would be the first to come on roads if charges proved against the PM. He said ANP had clear stance on Panama papers issue.
