Adviser to CM Sindh for Information, Moula Bux Chandio, has said Main Muhammad Nawaz Shareef mishandled the Panama papers issue and did not take opposition in confidence otherwise he would not face such difficulties he was facing now.
Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) would not take any step which might harm democracy, as it was a democratic party and wanted to see democracy flourish in the country.
Addressing to media persons during visit of a water point (Sabeel) set up by PPP workers in Qasimabad area to help the masses under fire blowing sun on Sunday,the adviser to CM said that at various occasions PPP support PML (N) for the sake of democracy and once again PPP co chairman was requested to play his role for preventing democratic system from any misadventure.
He said that a few people among the treasury benches must take care while speaking as they were inviting problems themselves by provoking speeches and thoughtless words.
Expressing concerns over long power outages in Karachi and other cities and towns of Sindh province during very hot weather the adviser said that hours long load shedding was infuriating the public and may ignite protest. He stressed upon WAPDA authorities and Distribution companies for improving power supply throughout the province to provide respite to people in severe summer season. Responding to a question regarding fraction within PPP he dispelled the perception and said that there were no differences between Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and some elements were spreading baseless propaganda in the regard. Elements who tried to disintegrate PPP failed in the past and they would meet the same fate now too, he said adding that the party workers always followed the policy set by the chairman. Criticism on process of re-organising PPP reflects that committee was carrying its work properly, he said elaborating that the whole exercise was meant to acquire feedback of party workers that would be presented before the party chairman who would take final decision regarding nomination of party office bearers at different levels.
