Load-shedding plan for Ramazan

To provide relief to the masses during the holy month of Ramazan, the government has decided not to cut power supply to domestic consumers during Sehri, Iftar and Taraweeh timings. According to a private news channel, a plan has been finalised under which the power outages have been scheduled to ensure uninterrupted supply to the domestic consumers. Directives have been issued to the distribution companies (DISCOs) to ensure availability of special teams to deal with any technical fault at the earliest.
