ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Railways (PR) Sunday categorically rejected the wrong impression given by a section of media that the Khushal Khan Express, which met an unfortunate accident at 6 in the morning between Massan and Sohan stations, was inaugurated by the prime minister.

A spokesperson of the Pakistan Railways, in a press statement here, cleared that Prime Minister Imran Khan had inaugurated the Mianwali Express, which was running smoothly on its route between Rawalpindi and Mianwali.

The Sunday’s incident, he said, took place ahead of Dawood Khail Railway Station.

The spokesman termed all the stories baseless, misleading and contrary to facts.
