The NAB lodged a complaint against Royal TV Channel to PEMRA and serve a legal notice to it for airing a "baseless and false" news against DG NAB Lahore and NAB on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from morning to midnight constantly casting aspersions on the person of DG NAB Lahore and the NAB as an institution. According to NAB, in view of the above position, PEMRA is requested to proceed against Royal TV who is in material breach of, inter alia, sections 3(1), section 4(9) and section 22 (1), (3) and (4) of the Electronic Media Code of Conduct - 2015.
