'Repatriation of IDPs to be completed by 2016 end'

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra announced here on Monday that repatriation process of the internally displaced persons (IDPs) would be completed by the end of 2016. "Effective measures are being taken for smooth return of the IDPs by the end of 2016, ensuring speedy development in the areas of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA)," he said.
Jhagra said that re-launching trade activities would be amongst the top priorities of the government once the repatriation process was completed. He also acknowledged the hard times people of the terror-hit tribal areas had gone through in the recent years.
