The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Monday announced six-day protest demonstrations and sit-ins throughout the Sindh against what they said 'arbitrarily' arrests of party workers including former Sector In-charge Hyderabad Zone Nadeem Qazi. The Co-ordination Committee said that Nadeem Qazi and others had been arrested and disappeared for long but never been produced before the court. The sit-in protest will be started from May 30 and would continue till June 4.
The first protest demonstration of the series will be held in Hyderabad, Thatta and Sajawal on May 30, in Mirpurkhas and Umer Kot on May 31, in Sukkur, Khairpur and Ghotki on June 1, in Tando Allah Yar, Qamber Shuhdadpur, Kashmoor and Jacobabad on June 2, in Sanghar, Jamshoro, Larkana and Shikarpur on June 3 and in Nawabshah, Naushehro Feroz and Dadu on June 4.
