Justice Saeeduddin Nasir on Monday took oath as permanent judge of the Sindh High Court (SHC). SHC Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah administered the oath to Justice Saeeduddin Nasir in the SHC premises in an oath-taking ceremony which was attended by SHC judges, and the representatives of the SHC bar association and senior lawyers. Justice Saeeduddin Nasir was appointed as additional SHC judge on 30th May 2014.
After his oath, the number of SHC judges has now risen to 33 against the sanctioned strength of 40. It is pertinent to mention here that the SHC Chief Justice had sent names of seven judges to the judicial commission for vacant positions but these posts are yet to be filled.
