Swat Region clinched the trophy after securing 80 points in the Malakand Division Full Body Contact Karate Championship organised jointly by KP Full Body Contact Karate Association and Shin Kou Shin Kai at Shadara Indoor Hall, District Swat on Tuesday.
International referee and chairman of the KP Full Body Contact Karate Association Master Shahibzada Abdul Hadi was the chief guest on this occasion. General Secretary Inayat Ullah Khan, tournament organiser Sher Zaman, Mansoor Ahmad, Ikram Ullah were also present on this occasion. A total of 75 players from all across Malakand Division took part in six different weight categories. In the Heavyweight category of 75kg Mazullah of Swat got first position, followed by GSK Branch Hamza and Dawash Khalla's Safi Ullah. In the middle weight 65kg category Shahid got first, followed by Babar and Dawood Khan, in the light weight 55kg Qamar of Swat got first, followed by Nasir and Saqib, in the featherweight group 45kg Abbas Khan took first position, followed by Ikram Ullah and Abdullah, in the special feather weight 35kg Muzamil got first, followed by Nouman and Muhammad Yasin and in the 25kg weight category Mehboob, Mudassir and Hasan Tehrey got position. Earlier, Swat got 80 points, followed by GSK with 70 points and Khawzakhala got 20 points. Later, the chief guest gave away trophies and certificates to the position holders.
