KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has accused federal government of stealing 600MW electricity of the province and giving the gift of unjustified load shedding to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Addressing a public meeting in Kohat Stadium, he made it clear that for getting their electricity share they will go dead end, but will not withdraw from their rights.
Talking about Panama Leaks, he said that it had rendered Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif as cardiac patients, but he will still be held accountable for each and every looted penny from the national exchequer.
Beside others, the public meeting was also addressed by chairman PTI Imran Khan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi and local MNA Shehryar Afridi.
The chief minister reiterated the pledge of the dilapidated roads, hospitals and schools before 2018 and retrieving the people of corrupt system. He said that PTI has come into power to serve the people, saying after purging province of thieves, they will reform the system to introduce the real change. He said that the attendance of teachers and doctors in schools and hospitals had been ensured and similar change will be brought in each sector to give good governance to the people.
On this occasion, he besides announcing the construction of Rs 350 millions Kohat Judicial Complex; another new college and granting Tehsil status to Gumbat also pledged the fulfilling of all demands made in the welcome address.
Commenting on the recent visits of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the chief minister said that the former is making fake announcements to mislead the people and asked him to tell that how he remembered the province after a period of three years.
KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak laid the foundation stones of development projects worth Rs 12 billion in Kohat on Sunday. The development projects were included Chor Lakki-Nizampur Road, Kohat Institute of Medical Sciences, Liaquat Memorial Hospital, Hangu Bypass Road, Double Carriage Kohat University Road, Gulshanabad Road and Citizen Facilitation Centre.
