KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Tuesday at 22,151.61 points with a positive change of 598.81 and volume of 97,575,000 shares. High and Low were 22,185.47 and 21,498.58 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 29 were up, 1 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 166,519,340 shares. Total companies traded were 382 of which 287 were positive, 68 were negative and 27 were unchanged.

Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 33,366,530 shares. It was followed by Cement with a total traded volume of 23,619,000 shares.
