Residents of Yousaf Goth in Karachi protested against the non-availability of water and electricity in their area on Thursday. Hundreds of people gathered at Hub River Road and blocked it for traffic due to which an intense traffic jam occurred. The protesters stated that they are depriving from power for the last 15 days due to which they also have to face shortage of water during the holy month of Ramazan. They said that K-Electric officials had sent huge amount of bills which were paid by the people but their connections were not restored.
