The Chairman Hyderabad SITE Association and the management committee while expressing their strong reaction to ten-hour long continuous loadshedding in the industrial area have rejected the load management plan of Hyderabad Electric Supply Company and demanded the high ups of the company to minimise the loadshedding hours in the industrial areas.
In a statement issued here on Thursday, the Chairman Hyderabad SITE Association Aamir Shahab and the members of the management committee said that ten-hour continuous power closure in the name of loadshedding is a big loss to the economy of the country as industries are unable to maintain the supply of productions according to demand.
They said that ten-hour long continuous loadshedding is badly affecting the production capacity of the industries as well as causing acute shortage of water. Besides factories, large population of workers community , who also reside in the SITE Hyderabad, are also experiencing hardship during the month of Ramazan particularly during Sehr, Aftar and Taraveeh, they added. They demanded the Chief Executive Officer Hesco to reschedule the load management plan and exempt Hyderabad SITE from such long loadshedding which is causing losses to national economy.
