Opposition leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah on Thursday met Pakistan People's Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari in Dubai. During the meeting, matters pertaining to the Terms of Reference (ToRs) for a commission to investigate the Panama leaks scandal and political situation were discussed.
The opposition's reservations on budget and Pakistan People's Party's (PPP) future strategy were also discussed during the meeting. Zardari said the PPP shouldn't neglect a transparent investigation into the Panama leaks, adding that other opposition parties must also be consulted in this regard. Khurshid Shah also informed the former president regarding the budget, saying that masses have not been given relief in the budget.
