Four 66-KV into 132-KV: Fesco, Pinggao Group sign pact on up-gradation of grid stations
Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) and Pinggao Group inked an agreement of US $8.50 million for the up-gradation of four 66-KV into 132-KV Grid Stations. These Grid Stations would be completed on Turn-Key basis and completion of Grids would be helpful to strengthen the transmission system. According to details, a Chinese delegation of Pinggao Group, headed by General Manager Xu Xiafoei visited the FESCO headquarters.
GM Pingaao Group and GM Operation FESCO Masood Salahaudin signed an agreement for the up-gradation of four Grid Station of 66KV capacity into 132KV. The Grid Station nominated for up-gradations are included 66-KV Garh Mahraja, 18-Hazari, Rakh Digran and Kala Bagh. Pinggao Group would provide the services in field of Procurement of Design, Supply and Installation for conversion of Grid Stations. This project is funded by Asian Development Bank.
GM Operation Masoos Salahaudin told that on the special directives of the CEO FESCO Rashid Ahmed Aslam, the Grid Stations of the remote are being converted on modern technology which would not helpful to provide better services to the consumers but also stabilise the power distribution system. Chief Engineer PMU Sheikh Jahangir briefed about the salient feature of this project. The foreign delegation lauded the hospitality of FESCO.
