Rangers lodge FIR against MQM's Media Cell head

A First Information Report (FIR) was lodged here on Wednesday against the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) media cell in-charge Aminul Haq for 'spreading propaganda' against the paramilitary officials on social media. According to details, a paramilitary force officer on behalf of Rangers submitted the plea to the Azizabad police station stating that Aminul Haq was allegedly spreading propaganda against Rangers through social, print, and electronic media.
In the application, the appellant wrote that the recently produced anthem by Aminul Haq on social media targeted Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) General Raheel Sharif, Director General ISI, Corps Commander Karachi, and DG Rangers. The anthem contained the words "The enemy who made us cry, we will make them cry now." Following the application, a case 150/2016 was registered against Aminul Haq.
