The residents of Taluka Hyderabad experienced several hours power outage following the technical fault occurred in 20/26 MVA Power Transformer of Hala Naka Grid Station on Wednesday night. The HESCO spokesman said on Wednesday that technical fault occurred at 20/26 MVA Power Transformer of Hala Naka Grid Station at 11 pm on Wednesday that caused suspension of power supply in four 11 KV Feeders of Hirabad, Miani Forest, Market Tower and Firdous Colony.
On the directives of Chief Executive Officer HESCO, the operation teams from P&I and GSO began their work and shifted the load of the localities to other feeders and restored electricity in the affected areas, the spokesman claimed. He said that the load of Market Tower Feeder was shifted to the Civil Hospital Feeder; Mian Forest Feeder to Shahbaz Feeder, Hirabad Feeder to Hayat Baba Sarfraz Feeder and the load of Firdous Colony Feeder was shifted to Liaquat Colony Feeder.
