First look of Thugs of Hindostan’s characters will leave you wanting for more
The first look of characters from one of Bollywood’s most awaited film ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ is making waves, as actors Amitabh Bhachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Fatima Sana Shaikh look smashing in their different avatars.
The makers have been sharing the first looks of the characters one at a time, with the most recent being of Aamir Khan. Aamir unveiled the motion poster of his character on Instagram, in which he is sporting an interesting look, sitting on a donkey.
Taking to his social media handles, Aamir revealed his jolly character as ‘Firangi’. "Truth is the second name and trust is my work,” he wrote. Aamir will play the role an orphaned child who is raised by thugs.
Previously, the motion posters for other three lead of the film — Amitabh, Katrina and Fatima were revealed last week. Katrina seems to be playing a bold character in the film. Her poster introduced Katrina as the sultry Surraiyya.
‘Dangal’ girl Fatima Sana Shaikh is back again with Aamir in an intense character. Fatima will play ‘Zafira’ who is characterized as a violent thug warrior.
American Actor Lloyd Owen will also be seen in the film. Revealing his character as ‘Robert Clive’, who is caring and non-violent, Aamir said that he is his idol.
Lastly, Amitabh will be playing the role of KhudaBakhsh. Sharing the first look of Amitabh, YRF wrote, “Wading through storms and battles, the commander of Thugs has arrived. Amitabh Bachchan as #Khudabaksh.”
Amitabh and Aamir will be sharing screen for the first time ever. The film is a period drama based on Philip Meadows Taylor’s 1839 novel ‘Confessions of a Thug’.
Previously, Aamir also shared the motion logo of the film. He wrote, “The thugs are coming”. The film is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and is slated to release on November 8.
