The Political Administration of Bajuar agency has distributed compensation cheques among the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) from Charmang volley of the tribal agency Bajaur Political Agent Abdul Amir Khattack distributed the cheques among 89 IDPs of various areas of Charmang volley at a ceremony held at the residence of Senator Hidaytullah Khan in Nawagai town.
On the occasion, the official said the administration was aware of the problems facing the militancy affected people and was committed to providing them financial support. He said the political administration had speed up efforts to ensure early rehabilitation of displaced persons of Charmang.
According to him, the administration with the financial support of federal government and non-governmental organisations had initiated a number of projects for rehabilitation of displaced persons. Senator Hidayatullah and the elders thanked the government for providing compensation to the militancy-hit people.
