The mobile browser Opera Mini is providing an integrated ad blocker since its latest update. The desktop version had already been equipped with the feature which is designed to both help pages load faster and prevent malware infections through manipulated ads.
The developers also claim that the browser now uses up less of your volume-capped wireless data plan. However, this feature has to be activated manually by tapping on Settings, then Data Savings.
However, an option for entering exceptions for trusted websites has yet to be included. Opera Mini is available for free for devices running the operating systems Android, iOS and Windows Phone.
