Sheikh Foundation (SF) will continue to dole out subsistence to its deserving members and in this connection ample charity was donated generously and judiciously particularly during Eid and Ramzan-ul-Mubarik, said Mian Muhammad Adress Chairman Sheikh Foundation. He was addressing a meeting to review the distribution of ration, clothes and Eidi during the holy month of Ramazan.
He said that the donor members of the foundation had arranged 4750 Ration parcels which were distributed among deserving widows and divorced ladies belonging to the sheikh community. "It helped them to observe fast without any financial concentrate," he said and added the Ration parcels were consistent of cooking oil, rice, sugar, dates, cereal, pulses, vermicelli, squash, tea and flour etc.
He further told that during the last ten days of Ramazan the donor members also provided 4911 ladies and 4400 gents' suites. He further told that Eidi in cash was also distributed among 1000 deserving ladies. Mian Muhammad Adress appreciated the generosity of sheikh community and said that the foundation will continue its welfare projects including educational scholarships for the deserving students of this community. The meeting was also attended by Abdul Qayyum sheikh, Shabbir Hussain Chawala, Rashid Munir and Khalid Habib sheikh etc.
