Foreign Office on Friday briefed ambassadors of African and Middle Eastern countries on the Indian atrocities against Kashmiri people, as Pakistan continued to sensitise the international community on the tensed situation in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria, the ambassadors of African and Middle Eastern countries were briefed in the Foreign Office over the tense situation in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOK) and the continuing crisis. "Pakistan's serious concern over the brutal killings of innocent civilians and violation of their fundamental human rights by the Indian forces was conveyed," he said, adding the envoys were informed that due to the use of lethal force by Indian forces, more than 40 civilians have lost their lives whereas 2000 have been injured, 400 in critical condition.
