Director General Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) expressed his distrust in Sindh Home Minister Sohail Anwar Siyal in the aftermath his brother Tariq Siyal reportedly impeded the arrest in Larkana of an accused namely Asad Kharal, who is said to be involved in corruption. Aaj News and some other private news channels reported that the DG Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar apprised Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah of his distrust in Siyal.
The meeting with Shah ended inconclusively. The DG Rangers demanded handing interrogation of the minister's brother Tariq Siyal and his close-aide Asad Kharal. The Home Minister reportedly not allowed so. Aaj News reported that police have registered three cases against three close-aides of Asad Kharal and Tariq Siyal. Four cases were registered against Abid Bughio, Manzoor Mangan and Mansoor Abbasi at Fateh Poor police station, three at Baqrani Police Station and one at Sachal Police station respectively in Larkana district.
