Shaheen Air International will commence its 6th consecutive Hajj operation from August 04, 2016. SAI plans to embark a total of over 33,000 pilgrims this year. Out of these 33,000 pilgrims over 17,000 pilgrims under government scheme and over 16,000 pilgrims under private scheme would be uplifted.
These pilgrims would be uplifted from Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Faisalabad and Multan. Further, these pilgrims would be carried to/ from Jeddah and Madinah. SAI has dedicate a total of 8 aircraft for its Hajj operation. These aircraft would be 06 x A330 (wide bodied aircraft) and 02 x A320 (narrow bodied aircraft). Shaheen Air International would be operating a total of 115 hajj flights in each phase.-PR
