The Soyem of veteran politician Meraj Muhammad Khan was held at his residence here on Sunday evening. People from various walks of life attended the Quran Khawani and Dua for the departed soul.
Those attended included Sardar Sher Baz Khan Mazari, Federal Minister Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo, PPP leader Prof. N D Khan, Senator Taj Haider, Javed Nagori, Rashid Rabbani, Dr. Mairaj ul Huda Siddiqui, Asadullah Bhutto, Yosuf Masti Khan, Tauseef Ahmed Khan.
Speaking on the occasion, federal minister Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo lauded the contributions of late Meraj Muhammad Khan in the realms of politics.
He said that the deceased always practiced clean politics and he was always held in high esteem.
PPP leader Prof. N.D. Khan said that politics of Meraj Muhammad Khan was of principles and his politics was aimed at serving people.
Dr. Mairaj ul Huda Siddiqui of Jamat-i-Islami said that late Meraj Muhammad Khan always struggles for the rights of underprivileged classes and for their upliftment.
