Educational institutes: security arrangements reviewed

Security arrangements in schools, colleges and universities will be re-checked before the end of summer vacations and focal persons will monitor the steps. The re-checking order came from Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Saeed chairing a meeting of the Administrative Secretaries' Committee at the Civil Secretariat on Tuesday which also called for a string of measures to improve security in educational institutes, worshipping places and public parks.
He also talked about Pakistani expatriates and all departments extending their cooperation to the Punjab Overseas Pakistanis Commission to resolve their problems. He then praised the Finance and Planning and Development Department for their hard work in preparing the provincial budget and the Annual Development Programme.
