English Biscuit Manufacturers will be extending support as a founding partner for the School of Leadership's (SoL) annual Young Leaders Conference (YLC) for its 15th edition. Over 300 young adults will participate in the six-day conference that will be held in Karachi from July 26 and 31 of these, from all over Pakistan are being sponsored by EBM.
EBM's partnership with the School of Leadership for 15 consecutive years is a clear testament of the company's strong commitment to youth development, for building a modern and progressive society. The theme of this year's conference is 'The Highway', to encourage the youth to create their own perception of their surroundings, challenge the conventional norms and grow beyond their comfort zones.
The Managing Director and CEO of EBM, Dr Zeelaf Munir, spoke about the conference stating, "We believe that the youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow, and our iconic Pied Piper will remain a part of its journey, supporting the youth to become visionary leaders. Leadership is one of our core values, and hence it is natural that we take it as our responsibility to guide the youth in developing intellectual curiosity and becoming resilient leaders." The six-day conference will feature interactive workshops, panel discussions, debates and other experiential learning activities aimed primarily towards skills development and innovation among the young adults of ages 18 to 24.-PR
