Provincial Minister for Labour & Human Resource Raja Ashfaq Sarwar has said that due to endless efforts and personal interest of Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif, there is conducive atmosphere for huge investment and trade in Punjab for foreign investors as provincial government is supporting and encouraging foreign investors in all the development sectors of the province, providing them foolproof security.
He said this during a meeting with a six-member delegation of Chinese investors and industrialists led by the Director of renowned auto mobile manufacturer JAC Motors Chen Zhi Qiang, here on Tuesday. Matters of bilateral interests along with mutual promotion in different sectors including auto mobile, infrastructure development, agriculture, livestock, energy and trade were also discussed during the meeting. Chinese companies expressed their keen interest to set up their auto mobile manufacturing unit in Punjab.
The minister welcomed the proposal of the Chinese investors and said that Punjab government has constituted a number of industrial zones in the province with tax-free incentives to encourage foreign particularly Chinese investments as China is our brotherly nation and given both the countries a milestone opportunity for economic, industrial and business growth with CPEC which will provide huge opportunity of jobs for the youth of Punjab for which government has drafted plan of action for provision of latest skill training to two million youth.
The minister lauded the efforts of Chinese government for supporting in elimination of energy crisis and cooperation in the mega projects of infrastructure development. There are vast prospects of investment and mutual cooperation between Punjab and China in different sectors. The delegation lauded the efforts of Punjab government for providing incentives and facilities for profitable investment in Punjab. DG PHA Mian Shakeel Ahmad and members of the delegation including Chen Jinpeng, Wang Ji, Jang Zengyong and Haixa whereas CEO Premier Group of Companies Shaukat Mubarak and Country Head Premier Engineering Pakistan Ahmad Danial were also present on the occasion.
