Pakistan envoys in important world capitals continued deliberations on Foreign Policy matters and Pakistan's approach to the crucial global issues as well as improving ties with world powers for the second consecutive day on Tuesday.
A three-day envoys' conferences, which opened on Monday, will be concluded on Wednesday (today) and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would give concluding remarks in which he is expected to give a policy guideline to the envoys for effectively promoting Pakistan image abroad through diplomacy.
The Prime Minister, according to the sources, would articulate his vision for regional and global peace as well as Pakistan's outreach to its neighbouring countries for regional stability and economic development through China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Nine envoys of Pakistan accredited to various world capitals and multilateral institutions are attending the three-day conference. Sources said that issues of key importance to the country's interests including the Indian brutalities in Occupied Kashmir, Afghanistan reconciliation process and improving relations with the world powers are under discussion in the conference. They said that the envoys participating in the conference are also sharing their recommendations with a view to enhance Pakistan's relations in all fields including trade and economy with rest of the world as well as with the neighbours.
The envoys participating in the conference are Pakistan Ambassador to United States Jalil Abbas Jilani, Ambassador to China Masood Khalid, High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit, Permanent Representative to the UN in New York Ambassador Maleeha Lodhi, Pakistan Ambassador in Vienna Ayesha Riyaz, Ambassador to Brussels/EU Naghmana Hashmi, Ambassador to Afghanistan Abrar Hussain, Pakistan Permanent Representative to the UN in Geneva Ambassador Tehmina Janjua and the country's Ambassador to Russian Federation Qazi Khalilullah.
