ACCA undertook a 30-day "100 employer initiative" to develop a professional accountants' market in Pakistan. ACCA's vision is to be number one in developing professional accountants in the world. This need is placed at the heart of everything they do in Pakistan and the'30 days-100 Employers' initiative was exclusively undertaken to achieve this goal.
ACCA took research and insights to hundred employers in thirty days and potential strategies were discussed at length at all employer premises to navigate what lies ahead for people in finance including prominent organisations like Standard Chartered Bank Pakistan Limited, Telenor, Toyota Indus Motors Company, Unilever Pakistan, Ufone and Pakistan Tobacco Company to name a few.
These efforts have positioned ACCA as the leader in the finance industry in Pakistan, and placed ACCA as the top career choice for employability and as a qualification that provides the accountancy and business skills to work across all sectors helping our members enjoy dynamic and flexible careers. "ACCA training program helped us to stay ahead of the curve on all fronts as it continued to seek that resources are trained to the highest standard and provide global offering that can be applied in different context to suit local practices and requirements,' commented Rehan Hamid, Finance Controller, AkzoNobel Pakistan.
ACCA Pakistan has forged strong relationships with employers in the past and through this initiative the addition of new employers to our portfolio will enable us to deliver training and employment opportunities our members and affiliates expect. This will result in a sustained vibrant future for ACCA and our members and affiliates who will be supported, trained and regulated to the same high standard globally.-PR
