I would like to express my profound appreciation to Shabbir Ahmad for his outstanding contribution to the promotion of trade relationship between France and Pakistan and for being a role model for strengthening the existing close and growing ties with Pakistan. He has indeed been a in laying a solid foundation for the France-Pakistan bilateral trade by entering into a joint venture in 2001 with a French company namely Duquennoy et Lepers Chereng, a well established French producer and distributor of Textile Products.
He has served various organisation with distinction and dedication in different capacities.He is the Ex-President of Pak-France Business Alliance, founded more than 25 years ago by Karachi-based Pakistani companies engaged in business with French firms to serve as a platform for attracting similar companies all over the country in order to promote trade and investment cooperation with France.
Acknowledging his meritorious services and loyal commitment towards the promotion of trade relations between Pakistan and France, he is being conferred upon the prestigious title of "Chevalier" in the National Order of merit on behalf of the President of the French Republic. I sincerely congratulate Shabir Ahmed on this very special occasion.
