Ginners group has nominated Dr Jeso Mal (Sindh Agro Industries), a candidate for the chairmanship of Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association (PCGA) in election for 2016-17. However opponent group could not reach to consensus for its candidate.
Addressing a Press conference here today Haji Muhammad Akram, Chairman of Ginners group said, "we have nominated an intelligent, skilled and dedicated person for this slot and other office bearers would also nominated with the consent of all members.
He said that we have shut the doors for adventurists and backdoor entrants forever.
He said that ginners group believed in service to community and individuals. Haji Akram said that we are custodian of democratic norms and ever sacrificed for the cause of democracy.
We have challenged the shifting and setting up of sugar mills cotton core areas by influential people in the apex court. The court gave judgement in favour of PCGA.
The press conference was also attended by sitting chairman of PCGA Shehzad Ali Khan, Ex-Chairman Suhail Mehmood Haral and Ex-Vice Chairman Rao Sadaruddin.
