Chief of Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, has strongly condemned MQM's fresh attack on the media and said this raised questions on the operation against terrorism. In a statement here, he said that Monday's incident proved that MQM's terrorism was very much there and the government had totally failed to maintain law and order.
The JI chief said the attack on the media house was an attack on the freedom of the press. He called upon the government to take immediate and effective steps to protect the life and property of the citizens and the media men. The JI Secretary General, Liaqat Baloch, has also condemned the MQM's attack on the media and expressed full sympathies with those affected.
