QWP condemns attack on media houses in Karachi

District general secretary of Qaumi Watan Party (QWP), Ijaz Hoti advocate on Tuesday strongly condemned attack on media houses in Karachi by the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), activists and declared it a shameful act. "Government should ban MQM immediately," he expressed these while talking to the media persons. Ijaz Hoti advocate said that attack on media house is attack on a pillar of democracy.
Ijaz Hoti added that it is an attack on freedom of press and expression. He also appreciated the action of Ranger against the MQM leaders and sealing Nine Zero and other offices. He demanded the government to bring the culprits involved in the incident in any shape, in to the courts of law and award them severe punishment under the relevant laws.
Meanwhile an emergency meeting of Culture Journalist Forum (CJF) Mardan was held. Meeting was presided over by Mohammad Riaz Mayar co-ordinator of CJF Mardan chapter. Addressing to the meeting CJF coordinator Mohammad Riaz Mayar, deputy coordinator Abdullah Shah Baghdadi and other office bearers also strongly condemned attack on media house at Karachi.
