In pictures: Kapoor family bids final goodbye to Krishna Raj Kapoor

The week started on a sad note for the Kapoor family, as Krishna Raj Kapoor, the wife of legendary actor Raj Kapoor, died of cardiac arrest on October 1.

Raj Kapoor’s eldest son Randhir Kapoor (Kareena Kapoor’s father) performed the last rites on Monday. Condolences have been pouring in since the news of Krishna's death broke.

Along with Kapoor clan, many B-town celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan among others were present during the funeral prayers on Monday evening.

Most of the Kapoor clan was present, except for Krishna's son Rishi Kapoor, daughter-in-law Neetu Kapoor and grandson Ranbir Kapoor. They have accompanied Rishi, who had gone to the US for medical treatment.

Krishna was the wife of legendary actor Raj Kapoor and mother of actors Rishi, Randhir and Rajiv Kapoor.
