London: Europe's main stock markets dropped at the start of trading on Tuesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index down 0.4 percent at 7,465.16 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 fell 0.9 percent to 12,229.07 points and the Paris CAC 40 shed 0.6 percent to 5,473.79, compared with Monday's closing levels.
