A trials to select FATA team for the forthcoming National Junior and National Youth Athletic Meet will be held here on Wednesday (today) at Qayyum Sports Complex. This was stated by President FATA Athletic Association Engr. Saif Ul Islam here on Tuesday. He said FATA Athletic Association has nominated Zafran Afridi and Syed Jaffar Shah as selector to monitor the performance of the players before selecting a team.
He said the National Junior Under-19 and National Youth Under-16 Athletic Championship will be held at Jinnah Sports Complex, Islamabad from September 4, 2016. The team of FATA will leave for Islamabad on September 3, he added. He also advised the players to bring their domicile, Form-B, Educational Certificates to ascertain their age before selection. The trials, he said, will be organized on August 31, 2016 at 10.00am at Qayyum Sports Complex.
