The operation against defaulters and power theft of Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) remain in full swing as special recovery teams disconnected 200 connections on charge of non payment of dues and removed 680 more illegal (Kunda) connections in the region. The teams also nabbed 12 power thieves to and handed over to concern Police Station for registration of cases against them on Friday, the HESCO spokesman informed.
During the recovery of outstanding dues, the spokesman informed that besides cutting off the power connections, the special recovery teams also recovered the dues of Rs 0.790 million from the defaulters. The Chief Executive Officer HESCO Asadullah has issued strict directives to officer to take strict action for recovery of outstanding dues and control of line losses in the region.
