The martial arts player of Landikotal, Khyber Agency won bronze medal in 16th Asia Full Contact Karate competitions held in Bosan city of South Korea. The tribal player, Ghani Khan while representing Pakistan in the combat bagged the bronze medal in 85 kg category. He defeated players of South Korea, Malaysia and Afghanistan to secure his 3rd position.
The other Pakistani players including Abdur Rehman and Amazai Khan did not proceeded and were outclassed by their Hong Kong and South Korean opponents in first and second round of the combats. The tournament that was continued for days (September 01 to September 04) and was played on knockout system. The players from the host Korea, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, China, Thailand, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Macau and Afghanistan participated in the combats.
