Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at PM House on Friday and exchanged views on matters pertaining to internal and regional security. The meeting is significant as it took place before Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's visit to the United Nations where he will highlight the atrocities being committed by the Indian occupation forces in occupied Kashmir.
Vowing to continue the war against militancy and terrorism, the Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction over security situation of the country. According to reports, the Prime Minister said the government is committed to eliminate the menace of terrorism and lauded the role of army and security agencies. He expressed the confidence that terrorists would soon be eliminated and complete peace restored in the country.
