India has in principle agreed to grant citizenship to Brahumdagh Bugti, self-exiled leader of Baloch Republican Party (BRP) and grandson of slain Baloch nationalist Nawab Akbar Bugti. According to private TV channel's London-based correspondent, Bugti and his close aides are all set to get Indian passport after negotiations with New Delhi, which will enable them to move around freely. Quoting credible sources within banned BRP, the news channel reported that Bugti will formally apply for Indian citizenship in Geneva after a meeting of his party leaders on 18-19th September.
