Azad Jammu & Kashmir Prime Minister, Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider said that India herself staged an attack on its army headquarters in Uri to divert world's attention away from its atrocities in Kashmir. The prime minister was addressing the members of Lahore High Court Bar Association here on Thursday.
The prime minister said that torture and killing of the Kashmiri people was a very shameful act and he condemned Indian atrocities on the Kashmiris. He, however, appreciated the Kashmiris who kept the Pakistani flag prominent in their protests against India. He said the Pathankot attack was also staged by India herself just to put blame on Pakistan at the international level. PM Farooq Haider said the independence of the occupied Kashmir and good governance was his priority.
Lamenting India over her illegal occupation of water reservoirs, the PM said it is violation of water treaty and international laws. He also commented on war-like situation between both the countries and said this time there would be no traditional war. Raja Farooq said Gilgit Baltistan should not be made a separate province from Kashmir as it would weaken the case of Pakistan at international forum. He said the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was a game-changer and it was a symbol of a strong Pakistan.
