The profit after tax of Balochistan Wheels Limited has increased to Rs 153.272 million in the year ended June 30, 2016 as compared to Rs 95.936 million earned in previous year. The company's earning per share surged to Rs 11.49 against Rs 7.19. The Board of Directors of the company in its meeting held here on Thursday recommended a final cash dividend for the year at Rs 5 per share ie 50 percent.
According to the financial results, the company's net turnover increased to Rs 1.471 billion in this year against Rs 1.378 billion recorded in previous year while the cost of sales decreased to Rs 1.098 billion against 1.170 billion. The company's profit before tax increased to Rs 253.002 million against Rs 111.214 million.
