The Wafaqi Mohtasib has directed Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development and Overseas Pakistanis Foundation to device joint mechanism for timely resolution of redressal of complains regarding non-payment of dues, salaries at not only Saudi Arab but also wherever it occurs around the world in future.
Hafiz Ahsaan Ahmad Khokhar Senior adviser and Grievance Commissioner for overseas Pakistanis in Federal Ombudsman Pakistan heard the complaint. The complaint was filed by Overseas Pakistani workers living in Suadi Arabia regarding facing problems on non-payment of salaries and other contracted facilities since one year in Saudi Arab. Wafaqi Mohtasib was informed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Overseas & Human Resource and OPF that steps have been taken for resolution of overseas Pakistanis workers grievances and submitted that the Prime Minister has also approved 500 million rupees for families of stranded workers and an amount of Rs 50,000 is being paid to each family.
They also submitted that "Pakistan Workers Facilitation Centre" has been established in Pakistan Embassy, Riyadh to help effected Pakistani Diasporas in KSA. Hafiz Ahsaan Ahmad Khokhar Senior adviser and Grievance Commissioner for overseas Pakistanis in Federal Ombudsman of Pakistan also advised in findings to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Overseas & Human Resource and OPF for devising a joint mechanism for timely resolution of Pakistanis worker's all issues living in KSA and around the world in future and also to submit reports in 30 days. The Federal Ombudsman also directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to submit monthly report of the "Pakistan Workers Facilitation Centre" established in Pakistan Embassy.-PR
