ISLAMABAD: A delegation of Workers and Employees Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) Pensioners Welfare Foundation led by Chairman Malik Noor Hussain called on Human Rights Minister Dr Shireen Mazari here on Friday.
They discussed in detail the problems and issues being faced by the EOBI pensioners and put forward their demands for an independent and transparent audit and strict legal actions against those who were allegedly involved in corrupt practices. They also discussed to increase the minimum amount of pension to Rs 10,000.
The minister assured the delegation that necessary measures would be taken for early solution of their problems.
