Sonam Kapoor quits Twitter to avoid all the ‘negativity’
After being fed up with all the negativity around her, actor Sonam Kapoor has said she is quitting Twitter for a while.
It all started when ‘Khoobsurat’ actress posted a story on Instagram yesterday, complaining about the traffic and the sad state of the roads. A Twitter user tagged Sonam and 'educated' her by saying celebrities, such as her, who use a high-end luxury car and the 20 air conditioners in their house, are actually responsible for global warming.
@sonamakapoor its because of people like you,who don't use public transport or less fuel consumption vehicles.
You Know that your luxury car gives 3 or 4 km per litre mileage and 10 /20 AC's in your house are equally responsible for global warming.

Sonam also replied back to the person saying that its because of people like him, women avoid using public transport.
And it’s because of men like you that women find it difficult to use public transport for fear of being harassed

This user also asked Sonam to stop playing the victim card with the wrong person. Twitter users soon started to troll the actress by saying that the man just showed the facts but instead she went ahead and called him a harasser.
Sonam is one of the actresses who has always been vocal about her feelings. Besides, being hyperactive on social media, the actress has always taken her virtual platforms to share her opinions whenever needed.
However, without speculation, we don't know what has simply caused her to take some time off from Twitter. She wrote in a tweet on Saturday, “I’m going off twitter for a while. It’s just too negative”.
I’m going off twitter for a while. It’s just too negative. Peace and love to all !
