The Board of Revenue (BoR) has directed the revenue officers (ROs) to decide revenue cases of overseas Pakistanis in three hearings and also furnish reports to the BoR on monthly basis. This was decided at a meeting held between Overseas Pakistanis Punjab Commissioner Afzaal Bhatti and Senior Member BoR Jawwad Rafique Malik at latter's office on Wednesday.
Director General Overseas Pakistanis Commission Muhammad Hassan Iqbal, Director Revenue Ishrat Niazi and officers of OPC & BoR were also present at the meeting. At the outset, Afzaal Bhatti conveyed the concern of expatriate communities that performance of revenue officers of certain districts was unsatisfactory.
